CharIN input on importance of standard in EV charging at ACMA Summit

The 5th edition of ACMA (Auto Component Manufacturers Association) Technology Summit & Awards took place on 25th and 26th November at Hotel JW Marriott, Pune.

This year's theme, "Exploring New frontiers of Technology” was aimed at continuing ACMA’s endeavour to identify trends and a roadmap for the future of sustainable mobility, and to address challenges faced by various stakeholders.


The event saw participation from both VDA and CharIN. Dr. Martin Koers, Managing Director, VDA spoke about the need to move aggressively into alternative energy, automation, connectivity and new services. Sivam Sabesan, CharIN Managing Director India spoke about the importance of standards in EV charging and presented an overview of the activities of the CharIN association in meeting the requirements of different vehicle segments for the global and the Indian market.
