The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is hosting the 1st Edition of GEMS - Global Electrification Mobility Summit on 7th -8th February 2020 in conjunction with Auto Expo – The Motor Show. GEMS will be the single largest platform comprising of Summit, Countries’ Sessions, Business-to-Business Meetings, Start-up Interaction, Technology Exposition, in the area of electric and hybrid mobility. Global automotive fraternity from France, Germany, Israel, Japan, United Kingdom and policy makers from Indian State Governments of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and many more are likely to be associated with GEMS 2020.
Participants will be largely from political leadership, think tanks, industry and start-ups.
CharIN members and other interested parties can hear from the local politicians and OEMs about the challenges and potential in the Indian EV market, especially regarding policy.
CharIN Managing Director from India, Sivam Sabesan, will also attend the event and represent CharIN in a panel discussion.
