In June 2020, EDF Group joined the CharIN e.V as a Core Member, in order to contribute to the development of the Combined Charging System (CCS) and ISO 15118.
As s Member of The Climate Group’s EV100 initiative, which brings together corporates committed to making electric transport the ‘new normal’ by 2030, the EDF Group launched in 2018 an ambitious plan to roll out new and innovative electric transport solutions in its four main European markets: France, UK, Italy and Belgium.
This Electric Mobility Plan involves the deployment of charging points and interoperable access to charging infrastructure, the development of smart charging and electric vehicle batteries in balancing electricity grids at times of peak demand.
EDF Group strongly believes this partnership will help improve customer experience and have a fully working, interoperable and cybersecure ISO 15118 in Europe and beyond.
