The station is a unique solution in many respects - it offers only fast charging available 24/7, stands solely for electric cars, an Ekocafe with delicious snacks and a special relaxation zone for drivers.
Ekoenergetyka-Polska, the leader among the fast electric bus and car charging infrastructure manufacturers is now entering a new area of activity. Ekoen - an alternative fuel station - was created for those who drive electric vehicles. Thanks to fast charging, a large number of charging stands, an Ekocafe and a relaxation zone, Ekoen is a comprehensive solution that will ensure high comfort for EV users and will also promote the use of electric cars among city residents. It is also a great solution for fleets based on electric vehicles such as taxis, couriers, last mile vehicles, etc. In the case of the first station, which is located in the industrial and technological zone of Zielona Góra, Ekoen is also addressed to customers who do not have an electric vehicle yet. Everyone is invited to come have a cup of aromatic coffee and eat a delicious meal.
Ekoen is a revolutionary solution that has not been present on the market so far. It stands out from other stations above all in its approach to providing services. “Ekoen offers full comfort of operation, high travel comfort, certainty of charging and most importantly - ease of paying for the services.” says Bartosz Kubik, President of the Management Board of Ekoenergetyka-Polska. It focuses on three simple steps - quick charging, simple payment and pleasant environment. You simply drive up, charge and pay. Ekoen is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No one blocks the charging slots, as it is often the case with the individual chargers, especially those dedicated for on street charging and slow charging. At Ekoen, charging stations are fast, and the driver can spend charging time in comfortable environment.
The Ekoen station has five fast charging stations with power of 50 kW, 100 kW and 150 kW, equipped with universal CCS Combo 2 and CHAdeMO plugs. The total installed infrastructure capacity is 400 kW. Thanks to the high power capacity, charging a vehicle only takes about 30 minutes. “This means convenient e-mobility for everyone. E-mobility is also directed to those potential users who do not have their own garage with a charging socket. An additional advantage of building stations with only multi-fast charging stands is the way of connecting to the power grid, which allows Ekoen to offer services at a much more affordable price.” says Adam Olszewski, the President of Ekoen.
Payment for the charging service at Ekoen has been simplified to a minimum. The driver charges the car and then makes the payment in any way preferable - in cash or by a payment card. You do not need to have special mobile apps, subscriptions or RFID cards. This significantly facilitates, and above all, reduces the charging time.
Ekoen is not only an ultra-fast charging station for electric cars. When charging the vehicle, the driver may drink aromatic coffee or enjoy a delicious meal at the Ekocafe. The restaurant is open from 6:30 am to 21:00 pm. What happens later? During the after hours an additional relaxation zone only for electric car drivers is being made available, after connecting the plug to the car, a special access code is generated to allow access to the rest area where one can relax while waiting for the end of the charging process.
The Ekoen alternative fuel station that opened on February 6 in Zielona Góra is the first, but certainly not the last point of its kind on the map. Ekoenergetyka plans to create more such stations throughout Poland wherever there are or will soon be many electric vehicles. A network of modern charging points designed exclusively for electric car drivers will definitely affect the comfort of traveling by EV vehicles. “Ekoen's distinguishing feature is above all the fact that we approach servicing the electric car users in a completely different and unique way.” says Bartosz Kubik, President of the Management Board of Ekoenergetyka-Polska.
