First CCS chargers installed in Indonesia

The first CCS chargers were installed this week in Jakarta, Indonesia. The charging station opened this week has two sets of 50 kW chargers. Further charging stations will open soon as interest can be seen in the country.

Representatives from the national standardization agency of Indonesia (BSN), the charging station developer industry, the electrical car association, the public transportation sector as well as electric car experts came to witness the construction and launching of the charging station.


The CharIN e.V. welcomes this development in Indonesia and the positive work of its member companies, the supporters and the association in ASEAN countries. Pertamina Indonesia became a CharIN core member this year and the electric vehicle associations of Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines officially stated to support the work of the CharIN e.V.
